BECOMING: Why your goals miss the mark

What got you here is not going to get you where you want to be. You need more than a new set of actions. You need to reset your thinking, beliefs, actions, and your being; become more of who you were created to be. If you aren't sure who that is, then create the person you want to become. I'm not calling you to change. I'm calling you to break free from the thoughts and beliefs that are holding you back from becoming the best version of you.

While you aren't going to get anywhere without action, you aren't going to get as far as you are capable of going without changing your thoughts and attitudes.  

  • If you want to become an entrepreneur, you have to think like an entrepreneur now.  Having an LLC doesn’t make you an entrepreneur any more than putting a sweater on a dog makes it a human. 

  • If you want to lose 10 pounds, you have to think like someone who weighs 10 pounds less. If you are thinking like someone who wants to lose 10 pounds, you are thinking like someone who wants to lose. A scarcity mindset is miserable. If you are thinking like someone who wants to become 10 pounds lighter, you’ll start acting like someone who is 10 pounds lighter; and soon you will be 10 pounds lighter. 

  • If you want to make a six-figure income, you need to become the person it takes to earn and manage a six-figure income.

All the books, articles, and consultants that tell you how to reach your goals are focused on what to do. "Doing" without aligning your thoughts and beliefs to the new actions makes change excruciating, exhausting, and unsustainable. Change your thinking and you’ll find the path of ease and flow.

To experience different results, you have to be different, not just do different. To get from where you are to where you want to be, embrace the path of ease and flow by BECOMING the person it takes to achieve your goals.
